Revolving Credit

Today's Dinette Set was a lot funnier when Married With Children did the same thing with the family dog in 1988.

Of more pressing concern, however, is that Joy's forearm pseudopodia, first diagnosed by E-R-O-X, appears to be getting worse.

Everybody run! It's the alien monster Joy! AaaaaaaH!

Actually, we might be getting through to Ms. Larson here: If you look just to the left of Joy's head, there's a floating "Call" on the whiteboard. Clearly that's attached to the "to Disney" that's on the right of her head, since "Find out what happened to Dale's credit card applications to disney" makes no sense. And clearly there is an obscured word in there, because "Call ... to Disney" makes no sense either. So there's got to be obscured words behind Joy's head. Woo!

Why do we need four characters in the frame for this conversation?

Why is the joke re-explained?

Why does Julie Larson insist on telling and not showing?!

Funnier:

(Timmy and ONE adult character sitting at the table. Timmy is opening his mail.)

Timmy: I got a credit card!
Adult: Good, now you can stop bugging me for money.
