In today's Dinette Set there are too many numbers flying around and I am much too tired to even attempt to parse this text and figure out what's going on.
I suspect it has something to do with how fat they are and how much they eat.
None of which explains why the waiter is quavering with fear as he approaches a very angry-looking patron, which is the most interesting thing going on in the panel.

"Servasa Grande?" Does she mean "Cerveza Grande?" Is there a "joke" here I don't get? Maybe "great servings" or some such? That would be something like "porcion grande." Oh well...
Wow. I know Burl and Dale are supposed to be dumb, but this doesn't make any sense at all. They might And yeah, I can't decide if the meaning intended for the fake-Spanish name is "big beer", "big servings", or "great service"... I'm guessing it's big servings, but she should either have looked up a real Spanish word or used a clearer fake one.
Er... sorry, hit submit in mid-thought... replace "They might" up there with "They might as well just have random words in their speech bubbles."
